Mr.
Niels van Dijk is Vice President in charge of the daily management
of the firm. He has extensive professional experience in project
preparation, planning and project management of a variety
of development projects in Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Sri
Lanka, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Egypt and The Netherlands.
During his 14 years in Asia, Niels worked as chief technical
advisor for various donor agencies such as the World Bank
and the Asian Development Bank. He has considerable hands-on
experience with projects dealing with urban management, urban
planning, management information systems (including GIS),
Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and project financing. Beginning
in 1989 as advisor to the Ministry of Public Works, Niels
has worked on many of Indonesia’s Integrated Urban Infrastructure
Development Programs. In addition to his consultancy assignment,
he conducted various business development studies throughout
Asia, and provided advice in the establishment of consultancy
companies in Laos and Bangladesh.
