Rodolfo
Pantillano Mr.
Pantillano is a Finance Specialist at TCGI, currently involved
in establishing a Water Revolving Fund in the Philippines under
USAID’s Clean Water for People Initiative (CWPI). CWPI
is part of a joint venture between the United States and Japan
to help selected countries achieve their targets for water supply
and sanitation under the UN’s Millennium Development Goals.
Prior to joining TCGI, Mr. Pantillano consulted for the Asian
Development Bank working to integrate regional bond markets
under the ASEAN+3 Asian Bond Market Initiative (ABMI). ABMI
is spearheaded by the Finance Ministers of the ASEAN, Japan,
Korea and China. Mr. Pantillano also worked as a Consultant
for the United Nation Development Program’s (UNDP) Global
Environment Facility (GEF)— a regional program that aims
to attract private sector participation in water and sanitation
projects throughout East Asia. Mr. Pantillano’s professional
background is in the investment banking sector in the Philippines.
His experience combines private investment banking with international
development. He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Economics
from the University of the Philippines with a focus on development
and monetary economics.
