USAID engaged TCGI in a mission to assess urban services delivery
and urban infrastructure reforms in India. The project covers
the economic and policy reforms in the context of urbanization,
urban governance, the extent and nature of urban poverty,
urban environment, municipal finance as well as infrastructure,
and service delivery system. Also, it addresses bilateral
and multilateral donors’ ongoing and future programs
and policies in the urban sector, and their likely impact
on the ongoing reforms in urban service delivery in India,
are analyzed.
